Pain Control

We make every effort to administer local anesthetics (novocaine) in a slow and effective manner in order to eliminate any pain that may accompany dental treatment. Numbness can generally last between two to three hours. Parents should be aware that children must refrain from chewing or biting their inner cheeks or tongue to avoid injury.
